Margo Dittmer has been a lettering artist for over 20 years, having first discovered calligraphy as a cure for bad handwriting. She received her fundamental instruction in calligraphy while in New York City, and has been fortunate to study with many of today's pre-eminent lettering artists from around the world in workshops and at international conferences.

Having studied creative writing in college, the content, not just the shape of the written word is very important to her. In each project, Margo strives to find the appropriate visual expression for the content of the text. She is frequently consulted by designers who want something more than just another font. Her work gives the distinctive look that only marks made by hand can bring.
